Gift Card Terms and Conditions
You can use the gift card to make purchases in either our physical stores or online. Purchasing and/or using the gift card implies your full acceptance of the following general terms and conditions.
Purchase
You can request a gift card from any staff member in our physical stores, or
you can purchase one via the myspringfield.com online store as from 5
May 2021. If you request it via our website, you will receive the gift card (a
PIN code) via email to the address provided.
If you request one in one of our physical stores, you will receive a card with
a PIN you can use online, as well as a barcode which you can present to
pay for your items at the cash desk.
You can use cheques or points obtained through the Club, as well as
discounts and/or promotional codes to purchase a gift card.
If you are a Club member, you will get points for your gift card purchase.
However, the person who receives the gift card will not get any Club points
when they use the gift card.
How the card works.
The gift card will be issued for a minimum amount of €25 and a maximum
of €250. The value of the card cannot be reduced or increased, nor can it
be refunded or redeemed for cash.
The card can only be used in Myspringfield stores located in the country in
which the card has been issued, or at the myspringfield.com online store.
It can be used for items on sale, promotions and special offers. However, it
cannot be used to accumulate or spend Springfield Money.
If using the gift card online, redeem it by entering the PIN when completing
your purchase. You cannot, however, use multiple gift cards together for
the same purchase.
You do not have to spend the whole value of the card in one purchase. The
remaining balance will be saved on the gift card, and if the gift card value is
lower than the total purchase amount, you can use any other available
payment method to make up the total.
Returns
In the event of returning an item purchased with the gift card in our physical
stores, you will need to present your receipt (including on the app or email).
You will not receive a cash refund, but will be able to exchange the item for
one of the same or a higher value (in which case you would pay the
difference), or you can get a new code via email to the value of the
returned item. If the return is processed in a physical store, the customer
will receive a card for the return.
Items purchased at the myspringfield.com online store with a gift card are
subject to the online store's general exchange, refund and cancellation
policy, which you can see here. In the event of return or cancellation, a new
code will be generated and sent by email for the sum of the return, less
shipping costs.
Validity.
The gift card does not have an expiry date.
Responsibility.
The company is not responsible for customers not being able to use the
card in the event of damage, loss or theft.
Data protection.
The personal data you provide will be processed by Tendam Retail, S.A.,
with Tax ID No. A08099459, registered address at Avenida del Llano
Castellano 51, 28034, Madrid, contact phone number +34 913873401, in
order to manage the gift card service, the legal basis being the execution of
the contract. This will imply the processing of your identifying details and
contact information. If you provide us with the personal data of any third
parties you are confirming that you have informed them of the contents of
this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, you have obtained their prior
consent to provide us with their personal data, in order to ensure their data
is processed for the purposes corresponding to each case. The data you
provide will be stored for as long as required for the development of the
contractual relationship. Once this has come to an end, the data will be
blocked within the legally established deadlines. To fulfil the
aforementioned aims, Tendam will give access to this personal data to
Tendam Group entities, specifically Tendam Retail Services, S.A., for the
sole purpose of managing internal administrative services. If the data you
provide us with is subject to an international data transfer, it will be
transferred in accordance with the guarantees established by the
applicable regulations. You can exercise your right to access, rectification,
portability, limitation to processing, opposition or deletion by emailing
dpo@tendam.es, or by post to Tendam Retail S.A., A/A DPO, Avda. del
Llano Castellano 51 (28034 Madrid). This same email address can be used
to contact the Tendam DPO, among others, if you need further information
regarding the storage of data or international transfers. You also have the
right to file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
